This is what Rachel looked like after we got home from two hours at the ER. She was learning how to slide at softball practice when we all heard a loud crack. It sounded so awful, we called 911 because we were afraid to move her. The ambulance took over 20 minutes to get there because the closest available one came all the way from across town.
