Today we had a pool party for Joseph's 8th birthday and Bailey's 5 1/2 birthday. I made this two kid cake myself. Posted by Picasa

Why big sisters shouldn't babysit?

This is what happened to Bailey today when left home for a little while with her older sisters. She was glad to let them do this to her. I think she looks a little like Hannibal Lecter. Posted by Picasa

Joseph - The day he was born

Joseph was the closest to being born on his due date. We went to the hospital on July 24th at 10:00PM, his due date, but he was not born until 5:10AM on the 25th. I was 5cm when we got to the hospital, then I stalled at 8cm for 3 hours. After what seemed like forever, the Dr. decided that I was dialated enough to push and Joseph was born 10 minutes later. We soon found out why he took so long to come out. Joseph was 10.5 lbs and 21.5" at birth, my biggest baby. Thank goodness that he was not late, he would have easily been over 11 pounds. Natalie has figured out how to climb up onto our high dining room chairs from the floor. Here I caught her sitting at the table. Posted by Picasa

Karate Kid

Joe signed Joseph up for a trial week of Tae Kwan Do. Joseph can go to at least one class a day for a week to decide if he wants to continue. After one class, he is already ready to sign up for more classes. This is a loaner outfit, but he gets to keep it if we sign him up. Posted by Picasa

Ohhhhhhh

This is Natalie's new expression when she does something that she thinks is funny. Posted by Picasa

On & Off

Natalie figured out that this switch on the wall turns the light on and off. She kept turning the lights off on the kids who were trying to watch TV in this room. Posted by Picasa
