Texas Bound

Mallory, Rachel and Taylor's volleyball teams are playing in a tournament this weekend. The winner of each age division, gets to go to the National Junior Olympic tournament in Dallas the end of June.

Taylor's team won the 13's division today.

Mallory and Rachel's team will finish up tomorrow, neither are expected to win their age group. Both teams had a rough day today, tomorrow is another day. Hopefully they will both do better.

I cleaned up my flower beds this weekend and planted some pansies.

Joseph was getting shaggy so I took him to get a haircut.

Nothing too short, but definitely trimmed all around.

Officially a Boy Scout

Joseph's last night as a Weeblo Cub Scout.
He received his Arrow of Light,
the highest award that a cub scout can achieve.

His new scoutmaster places his boy scout neckerchief
over the weeblo one before it is removed.

The blue shoulder bands are replaced with red ones.

His new troop also gave him a boy scout handbook and bag to keep everything together.

Each troop can have their own neckerchief.

Joseph is excited about becoming a boy scout.

Natalie Cut Her Hair

Volleyball on Capitol Hill

Mallory, Rachel, Taylor, myself and my dad spent the most part of three days playing/watching volleyball in Washington, DC last weekend. The girls stayed with their teams in three different hotels and I stayed with my dad and took the Metro into DC.
