Ice Cream

Natalie devoured her first ice cream cone. There was not even a crumb left of the cone when she was done. Posted by Picasa

Who's got Blue Eyes?

Natalie with her Aunt Linda. They seem to have the same eye color. Posted by Picasa

Spagetti is a Favorite

Natalie eats spagetti outside at Grandpa's. She went from the table to the tub after this meal. When she sneezed in the tub, spagetti came out of her nose. Gross! Posted by Picasa

Putt Putt Kids

These are all of the kids we had at the putt putt golf course. We had six adults in addition to these nine kids. We played as three groups of five. A great time was had by all. I had the best score overall. Posted by Picasa

Hole in One?

Joseph takes a shot at getting a hole in one. He didn't get it this time around. Posted by Picasa

Golf Girls

The group of older girls had a good time. The girl in the red hat is my neice and the other girl is my neice's cousin. It looks like they spent more time talking than golfing.Posted by Picasa

Bailey and Grandpa

Golf Ringer?

My Dad played putt putt golf with us. He made most holes in 2 shots. I don't think that he's played since before any of us kids were born. My sister and I didn't remember ever seeing him play. He said that putting was just a matter of being patient and taking your time.Posted by Picasa

I Dream of Jeanie?

Another Driver for Long Trips

It's nice that Mallory can share some of the drive time, even though it's only three hours to my Dad's house. I let her take over after we got through the tunnel traffic.Posted by Picasa

Two Steps

Natalie has been letting go more recently and standing for a few seconds at a time. Tonight, she finally stood up between my legs, facing away from me, and took her first two steps away from me. So maybe she will be walking before she starts school this fall. Natalie will be starting half day school at the same Elementary school where Taylor, Joseph and Bailey will be too. Way to go!!!

Visit with Family

Some of the kids and I are at my Dad's for a few days. Mallory, Joseph, Bailey, Natalie and I drove up Friday afternoon to northern VA. My grandma's memorial service is Monday, so I'm spending a few extra days visiting with my brother and sister who are also in town. Rachel had a whitewater rafting trip with the Girl Scouts today and Taylor had gymnastics practice Friday evening so they stayed at home with Joe. They will be coming up sometime tomarrow. We are spending a few days at my Dad's house and a couple of days at a hotel because their aren't enough beds for us all to sleep here. Joe is going back Monday afternoon and taking Mallory and at least one other kid, maybe Joseph and Bailey, back with him. Then the rest of the kids and I will stay until Wednesday afternoon. I need to get back in order for Taylor to get to practice at 6:00PM. We just hung out around the house today catching up on each other's life. Tomorrow we will get everyone out of the house and go putt putt golfing and go out to dinner. I have been taking pictures, but will have to wait to post them until I get back home.

Reading?

Natalie loves to "Read". Posted by Picasa

Cheap Baby Lock

This piece of wood was my solution to Natalie emptying out all of the lower drawers on her dreser. Now she can't get just one open and she doesn't have the strength to open them all. Posted by Picasa

Littlest NASCAR fan (at our house)

My good friend (Diane) gave this dress to Natalie. It's a 4 or 5T and I'd thought it would be huge on her, but it seems to fit her okay. Posted by Picasa

Asleep on the Bed or Floor?

I found Bailey asleep like this a couple of days ago. She had her legs on the floor and her body and head on Taylor's bed. Silly girl! Posted by Picasa

Group Hug

The kids like having their Daddy home. Natalie was not feeling so good earlier in the day. Mallory, Bailey, Natalie and I were out shopping, when Natalie got very cranky. She has been restless the past few nights, so I took her to get checked out. She has her first ear infection, in both ears. No wonder she was cranky. She seems to be feeling better here.Posted by Picasa

Chilling Out?

Natalie looks like she is just chilling out watching me sew. Posted by Picasa

Sneaking a Peek

But she was really checking out all of the stuff on my desk behind my serger and trying to see what she could get without me seeing. Posted by Picasa
