Not too happy about being kissed!

I don't think that Joseph was happy to be kissed by Rachel.

Our Hero!!!

Freckles saved the day today when he caught and killed a 3' red bellied black snake that was in our garage this morning. He got it outside as it was trying to get under one of the decks in our backyard. Somedays I really like this little guy. Rachel had to give him a bath after we got the snake away from him. Ick!!!

So Long?

When did my baby get to be so long. I measured her while she was sleeping and she is approximately 33" long.

Working Hard

The Stratton kids working on their serve for volleyball. Rachel and Taylor were working on an overhand server and Joseph was working on an underhand serve.

Bailey was just trying to hit the volleyball at all. Mostly she missed the ball because she threw up both hands at the same time.

Yellow Rose of Virginia?

I just planted this new yellow rose bush alongs with my other spring flowers in the front of the house. This flower just started to open today.

Our Special ME's

Joseph and Taylor both got selected by their teachers to be the "Special ME" for the month of May. We get to keep the signs in front of the house for 3 weeks.

T-ball Trophy

Bailey got her t-ball trophy at the team party on Thursday. She was on the Sand Gnats.

Baseball Trophy

Joseph got his baseball trophy at the team party on Wednesday. He was on the Red Sox.

Another Driver on the Road

Mallory is very happy to be behind the wheel. Joe on the other hand is scared to death that she is behind the wheel. LOL

Student Driver

Mallory got her learner's permit yesterday. I let her drive around the elementary school parking lot. Then she got to drive around a closed bank with drive thru teller lanes. Then I let her drive to Sonic which is next to the bank and go through the drive thru window. She was very exicted. Tomorrow I will let her drive some more. Soon she wil be driving me everywhere. Especially since we have so many places to go.

Officially Retired

Joe will be offically retired on May 31st, 2005. The kids and I decorated the house for his last return from DC last night. He starts his new job as a stay-at-home Dad on June 13th, which gives him two weeks on his own to relax before the summer. Way to go Joe!!!
