Phillies vs Red Sox

Joe took Joseph to Philadelphia to see his first real baseball game. As you can see from Joseph's hat, he was not cheering for the Phillies. He played on the Red Sox this spring, so he was rooting for them. It was very hot at the game. Joseph ate a hot dog, some pop corn, a pretzel, a lemonade and lots of water. Joseph was very happy, the Red Sox won. The Stratton guys had a great "Boys Only" weekend.

The Next Beethoven?

Wasn't Beethoven playing the piano at a very early age too? Natalie loves music, so who knows, maybe she'll be a great musician one day.

Time to Eat with a Spoon

We finally gave Natalie a spoon to see what she'd do with it. She knew right away that it was to get food to her mouth. It took her a while, but she did eventually get some food into her mouth from the spoon. LOL

Who's steering wheel is this anyway?

Natalie claimed Joe's steering wheel as her own. If she could reach the pedals, she'd be driving a car around the computer's tracks.

Growing Up?

Rachel and Taylor were putting on makeup. Doesn't Taylor look nice? Looks like I've lost another one of my little girls, almost? Taylor is going to be a knockout when she gets older.

Retired?

We went to the Mall today so that the Navy Chief could get some clothes suitable for his retirement life. Mallory wanted to get Joe's dog some new clothes, besides his uniform.

Joseph's new Monkey (Dragon)

Joseph got an early birthday present, a monkey, he named him Dragon because his clothes have a dragon on them. Joseph has wanted his own Build-a-Bear since we got Joe his for his birthday back in January.

Retirement Bear's new Job

Retirement Bear is now a SAHD (Stay at Home Dad). Here he talks on the cell phone while the kid bears interrupt. They are hungry and want to eat now! We have two more Build-a-Bear critters, but could not find them today.

Bite?

Natalie figured out that she could get the horn to honk by biting on the bulb. Joe showed her a few times how to squeeze it to make it honk and she took over from there.

More shorts for Joseph

Joseph models another pair of Momma made sleep shorts. This week I made 3 pairs of sleep shorts each for Joseph & Bailey. Today I cut out 2 rompers for Natalie, 3 more shorts each for Joseph & Bailey. Those 2 kids needed summer pjs more than any of the older kids. Sometimes Bailey wears a t-shirt with her shorts, but usually she go shirtless like Joseph.

Popcorn Feast

This is how I found the kids eating popcorn while they were watching a movie. Even Natalie had joined in eating like a dog. Silly kids.

On the Computer

Natalie watches Joseph play a game on the computer. She is standing on the chair he was sitting on until he got up for a minute to do something else. Finders keepers, losers weepers.

My Turn

Ah, ha ha ha (Evil Laugh)! Natalie got Joseph's place at the computer as soon as he left to do something else. She eventually did something that turned off the computer.

Two weeks and counting...

Retirement is going well for Joe. Doesn't he look very relaxed. Joe took this picture himself.

"Honk!"

Mallory playing with Natalie. Natalie was reaching up and squeezing Mallory's nose and Mallory would say "Honk". Then Natalie would squeal with laughter.

Sewing Again!!!

After a 3 month break, mostly because I was too busy with spring sports, I finally got to get some sewing done this week. Here's the first pair of 3 pairs of sleep shorts for Joseph. I got this fabric because his Dad likes the Philles, but Joseph said he'd rather have the Red Sox.

Bailey's New Shorts

Bailey models her new sleep shorts while holding her new Trecco. These shorts are the second of three pairs I am going to make her. I will get more shorts pictures up as soon as I finish them all. Bailey wanted me to take this picture for Isaiah, her friend who moved to Spain. Trecco was his favorite Pokemon.
