New Train for Natalie

Natalie got this cool chunky train and animals for her birthday. It sings a song which she likes to dance to. We looked at many different toys at Target for almost an hour before we found something she looked at for more than 30 seconds. Posted by Picasa

The train came with a giraffe

Mom made Sweater

I made this summer sweater for Natalie out of cotton yarn by myself by knitting it on a knitting rake. If you want to know what a knitting rake is, look it up on the Internet. I worked on this sweater on and off for about 2 weeks. I think that it would have taken me about 8-10 hours if I had worked on it non-stop. It fits Natalie perfectly and she seems to love it. Bailey with her Big Brown Eyes!

I thought that Bailey was very cute looking in this picture. She wore her bathing suit all day waiting for someone to go swimming with her. Finally about 4:00, Natalie went swimming with her. Bailey can't wait for school to start in 2.5 weeks. She is very excited about going to first grade. Posted by Picasa

Lots of Impatients

These impatients are located on the right side of the house. I have put impatients in this box for the last 5-6 years and they always do great. This side of the house is shady most of the day. Posted by Picasa

Left Side of Door

Most of the flowers on this side of the front door have died from the heat. Looks like I'll have lots of room to try and plant some pansies this fall. Posted by Picasa

Right side of Door

The flowers on this side of the front door are doing much better. Most of the flowers are new guinea impatients and vincas. Posted by Picasa

A flash from my past

Mallory got some cool new socks and shoes. The scary part is that I wore striped tube socks and red converse high tops when I was in high school. When did that fashion trend come back? Posted by Picasa

Black Eye

Natalie fell one day last week and hit the corner of her eye on a small table. It's starting to look a little better now. Posted by Picasa

Bailey was so excited to get her green belt in Tae Kwon Do. She has been working hard for the last 2 months to earn her green belt because her reward for earning her green belt is sparing gear. She can't wait to start contact sparing as soon as possible. Posted by Picasa
